Do not read this page looking for the role that sounds most like you. Start with Crew. The rest gets decided later, by how you actually show up — not by a quiz.

A Discovery Bible Study in a living room or cafe. This is where every single person in this pathway begins, and where most people stay, gladly, for a long time. Being in a Crew is not a stepping stone to something more important. It is the work.
Chosen, after real participation in a Crew
These roles are not applied for. They emerge from consistent presence in a Crew over time.
Someone who builds the bridge between people who do not yet know each other in the same neighborhood. Connectors notice who is missing from the room and go get them.
Someone who carries the vision for a specific geography — a neighborhood, a census tract — and keeps it in front of the people already doing the work there.
Someone who moves things that have stalled. Catalysts step into a Crew or a neighborhood that has lost momentum and help it start again.
Appointed, not self-selected
Prayer and spiritual care for the people doing this work, not just the people being served. Appointed by the leadership team, not applied for.
Keeps the moving pieces of a county’s or region’s work connected to each other — schedules, handoffs, communication between Crews.
Walk alongside newer Connectors, Champions, and Catalysts. Coaches have already done the role they are coaching someone else into.
