Love God. Love your neighbor. Everything else is commentary.

“You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.” This is the first and greatest commandment. “A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’” Matthew 22:37-39, NLT

Personal holiness. Social holiness. Not two projects.

John Wesley said there is no holiness but social holiness. He meant a faith that stays inside a person’s private devotion has stopped short of what Scripture asks. Love of God shows up as love of neighbor, or it has not fully arrived.

We are not asking you to choose between your walk with Christ and your care for your block. Wesley did not see a choice there. Neither do we.

The standard we are held to.

“For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.” Matthew 25:35-36, NLT

Then Jesus goes further: “I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!” (Matthew 25:40, NLT)

We measure success the way Matthew 25 does — not by what we built, but by who was served.

What this actually is.

LoveYourNeighbor.Church exists to recruit and train disciplers — people willing to be sent into a census tract, a block, a building — to do this work in the name of Jesus, alongside a local church.

This is not a call to donate. It is not a call to attend an event. It is a call to become a discipler.
